Vacancy: Receptionist

Job purpose: To provide reception services for the CRC (Community Rehabilitation Centre) Office, providing an excellent first impression and service to all visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide the first point of contact for all visitors to the CRC Office, responding to queries or referring to the relevant person
  • Manage telephone calls, respond to enquiries and redirect calls to appropriate recipient
  • Record, distribute and dispatch mail for the office
  • Positively engage with service users to provide support to Flex and CP/UPW
  • Provide administrative support to the Flex and CP/UPW teams on request, eg, room bookings, recording all visitors, preparing letters and interrogates IT systems to provide information relevant to the CRC, ensuring confidentiality and data protection are maintained
  • Ensure the facility is well maintained in line with agreed processes, liaising with the Property Team
  • Assist the Management Team with Health and Safety compliance to maintain a safe environment, eg, testing panic and fire alarms on a regular basis, ensuring logs/records are maintained in line with policies
  • Maintain, record and order office consumables, including stationery as required
  • Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 1:15pm until 5:15pm with a late night cover on Wednesdays.

    Knowledge skills & experience

  • GCSEs including English and Maths - grade C (or above) or equivalent

  • Experience of working directly with members of the public ideally in a service environment

  • Experience of working with business software solutions, eg, Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Knowledge of CRCs (Desirable)

    We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to work from our Fraternal House site in Bradford. This role is offered on a part time, permanent basis and is 18.5 hours per week to be worked Monday – Friday 1.15pm to 5.15pm except on Wednesday when you will be required to work a later night. In return we are offering a competitive salary of £17,417 - £21,605 per annum, pro rata.
